Day 335 - Date with Dylan

Dana asked if I could keep Dylan for a bit and so we went to the local McDonalds to play.  The kids loved playing with their baby cousin.  I'm not sure who was more excited about it - Dylan or the big kids!

My sweet in-laws have our three and Josh and I are out shopping!  You can never find stuff with the boys' names on it, but Alexis is plastered ever where.

Day 330 - Twinkle Lights

The Christmas season has officially begun.  The kids pulled out all the Christmas lights today... here are the boys playing with them tonight.

Day 329 - Thankfulness

There are many, many things that I am thankful for.  One of them is this beautiful girl the Lord gave me and her dad... she's a joy and I love her to bits!

Day 328 - Turkey Tracing

Carsten traced his hand today and made it into a turkey for Thanksgiving.  Doesn't he look proud of himself?

Day 327 - Before & After

My glasses look so awful.  I've tried all kinds of things with my dishwasher and nothing seems to help.  Today I decided to wash them by hand instead of putting them in the dishwasher.  Guess what?  They were perfectly clear and sparkly afterwards.  Hmmmm.

...I just want to play on the drums all day!"  Ever heard that old song?  :0)  Carsten decided to take a turn on the drums tonight after church.  I let him bang away until his heart was content and our ear drums were shot!

Alexis pulled up her Christmas tree from the basement today... it's so pretty all lit up at night!

Day 315 - Snow...

Snow causes mixed emotions in our house.  Today was the first snow of the season and the kids were SO EXCITED!  They ran out (in their bare feet and short sleeves, nonetheless!) into the backyard and began to dance about.  How do the adults feel?  Eh, less than excited for sure. 

Day 314 - A Note

Carsten wrote this today: "Dom loves Mr. Freeze, especially when we defeat him!". I like 'ufet' for defeat best! ;)

...is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path!"  I walked into the living room today and saw Alexis' Bible open like this on our couch.  I love that!

Day 312 - Horsies

Alexis has discovered that she loves horses.  In my quest to help her learn more about them, I picked up this book last night at my homeschool mom's meeting and gave it to her today.  She was soooooo excited!

Every day he's getting better and better.  He really struggled with 'the' because, in his words, "It doesn't make sense!"  He's right, it doesn't!  My friend suggested teaching him the blend 'th' and that helped tremendously!
