Day 212 - Softball Picnic

Since it was a fifth Sunday today, we only had one service.  Afterwards, we headed out to the park to enjoy some friendly church softball.  It was so hot, but the sky was blue!  Here is Daddy and Carsten up to bat!

Day 211 - On The Road Again...

We spent pretty much the entire day in our car today.  Lots of driving.  And more driving, and then, after that, we did more driving.  Oh, we did stop a few times to eat... that was the most exciting part of it.  Ha!

We finally made it home before midnight.  Here is what Carsten looked like when we pulled into our garage...  I think he's pretty smart.

Day 210 - Branson Outings

This place is SO HOT.  Holy cow.  After quizzing was over today, we kind of hung in our condo until it got a bit cooler.  Then, we went out and rode at a 4 story go-kart place.  It was a blast!

Carsten was a trip on his tiny go-kart.  He kept jamming it into the girls in front of him and weazled his way right to the front.  Little stinker!

After the go-karts, we went down and watched the fountains we'd heard about.  They were synchronized with lights and music.  It was pretty and a lovely way to spend our last night in Branson.

Day 209 - The Natural State

Since were are so close, we thought it would be fun to drive a bit and head down to Arkansas.  None of us had ever been there.  Talk about windy, curvy roads!  Eek.  It was worth it though and now we can all say we've officially been to the Natural State - even if we barely stepped over the border. 

Day 208 - Silver Dollar City

We had a break from quizzing today and decided to spend some time at this fantastic amusement park called Silver Dollar City.  It was a lovely, fun, wet, wild day!  :)

Day 207 - Our turn!

So today was our turn for the first time to quiz at Junior Nationals!  The kids did a great job and lost on the last question.  It was a great experience!

Day 206 - Gettin' Ready

We've arrived in Branson.  What a wild place this is!  The kids are getting ready to quiz and Josh is looking at the 238048 things to do while we're here. 

Day 205 - On Top of the Arch

We spent the day driving today to Branson, MO.  On the way, we took a stop over in St. Louis and made a trip to the top!  It was a blast!

Day 204 - Sunrise

It is rare that I'm up early enough to catch a glimpse of the sunrise, but it was totally worth it this time.  God paints a beautiful picture, doesn't He?

Day 203 - Lego Block Party

Our local library hosted a Lego Block Party today.  It was super fun for the kids - they just sat and built lego creations until their hearts were content!

Day 202 - Big Helper

Carsten has begged for a long time now to be able to put the books in the outside book drop.  Today was his lucky day!

Day 201 - Big Trucks

A bunch of local big truck drivers came together today for a day of saftey and exploration.  The kids loved climbing all over the trucks and honking the horns.  :)

Day 200 - A Trip to the Museum

Our local museum has totally remodeled and put in a bunch of awesome stuff!  One thing that all three kids loved with this Ice Cream Parlor shop where they could serve ME.  :)

Carsten also loves to play "I Spy" so when I saw this sign, I knew he had to pose in front of it!

Day 199 - Yeouch, it's hot!

I'm pretty sure the humidity is just as high, too!

Day 198 - Sunset

It was so striking, so I thought I'd capture it...

Day 197 - Delish!

Look what we made today...!  A total of 34 of them, to be exact!  I hope you put your order in!

Day 196 - I Scream, You Scream...

Day 195 - Miss Climber

So this is how I found my daughter tonight when I walked into the kitchen.  Yeah.  Not the best idea!

Day 194 - Mr. Foxy

Day 193 - Zzzzzz #2

Our main car is in the shop, so we're all shoved into the smaller car.  The kids zonked out in the backseat tonight and so I thought I'd capture it.

Day 192 - Wild Storm

We were hit by a major storm today.  The sky was black and the house was shaking!  Thankfully, we all survived, with the exception of a few trees.  This particular one is in my Mother-in-law's yard!

Day 191 - Pu-sketti Dinner

We served our church a Spaghetti Dinner tonight to help raise funds for our Junior Bible Quizzers.  Here is Carsten helping me out!

Day 189 - Camp Jr Ends

I went and picked up my girl today from camp.  Her hair was a mess, but she was happy to see me!  :)
