Day 250 - Driving, and driving, and...

... yep, you guessed it, more driving.  1100+ miles one way!  We left Denver late last night, and have done nothing but drive today.  It's a long trip!  Thankfully, we have four drivers, so it's not been too awful.  Here was my view this morning in my rear-view-mirror.  It makes me giggle every time I see it!

Day 249 - Last Day Cramming

Today was our last day in Denver (at least for this trip!) so we tried to pack in as much as we could!  We drove up to see Focus On The Family, but mostly their Adventures in Odyssey area.  My kids are huge fans of the show!  They loved it!

After that, we went to Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs.  It's amazing how beautiful God's creation is!

And then, finally, we ended the night at Coors Field watching the Colorado Rockies vs. the Diamondbacks.  That was a blast and such a fun way to end our stay!

Now, it's time to hit the road, Jack!  :)

Day 248 - Labor Day Sillies

Breakfast out was on our menu this morning!  We met my dad and had a great time.  Here's my mom and Alexis acting silly at the restaurant!

After breakfast, we drove up to see beautiful Red Rocks!  Such splendor, let me tell you!

Day 247 - Wedding Day!

Today, my beautiful cousin married her love!

Day 246 - Colorado Here We Are!

We left NE early this morning and drove into Denver to spend some time with my mom.  My cousin is in town, too and he brought over his kids for awhile.  Love these boys!

Day 245 - Headed West...!

We left last evening and drove ALL NIGHT to get to Nebraska where we spent the day with my dad on the beautiful Lake McConaughy.  Even though we were exhausted, it was a lovely, peaceful, perfect, fun day!

Day 244 - Short or Tall?

So we always joke that Tyrus will eventually be taller than his aunt Stephanie... well, the day may come sooner than we thought!  She's 25!!!
