Day 319 - Reindeer Ranch Time

Today, we joined other homeschooling families from our area and went to a very cool Reindeer Ranch!  The kids learned a ton of stuff about reindeer from the Ranch's owner.  (Do you know the difference between an antler and a horn?  OR, did you know that both female and male reindeer have antlers?) 

The kids had a great time!  I however, stood there and froze.  lol  I know, surprise, surprise!

Day 318 - Plant Life Learning, Pt 2

Remember our plant tins from a few days ago?  Well, when you water them and stick them out in the sun and all, they grow!  It's pretty amazing!  The kids are fascinated!

Day 317 - Our Family

Carsten informed me today that he'd drawn a picture of all five of us.  Who do you think each of us are?  Maybe I should ask him.  :)

Day 316 - She's Gorgeous, What Can I Say?

Alexis begged me to buy her this cute shirt the other night from the Second Childhood store.  I have to say now that I'm glad I did.  She looked stunning in it tonight when it was time for church!

Day 315 - Scrapbooking / Stamping / Oh, My!

We'd planned for a few weeks now to use this day to scrapbook and make cards. After a lovely breakfast at Uncle Earnie's the guys took Tyrus to basketball, and us ladies stayed back and played with paper. It was fun.

Day 314 - Story Time

We baked cookies today!  My ILs and Aunt Sherrie came over and we had a great time.  At one point, I saw that Grandpa was reading to Carsten so of course, I had to snap a picture.  I love it.

Day 313 - Veteran's Day

I showed the kids a small video about Veteran's Day and then we talked a lot about what it means to us and our family.  Afterwards, we decided to make American Flags as a craft.  All I have to say is thank the Lord for my scrapbooking star paper punch!  It was a lifesaver!
